Search "How To Get Rid of Writer's Block" and you'll get 100 different answers. They all work...until they don't. And yet, you'll keep going back and searching more, keep trying things, and keeping getting lucky, kinda.
It drives me crazy. People focus on temporary solutions for temporary problems. I'm interested in solving problems at their fundamental level. So, that's what I've done here with Writer's Block.
I've been answering a lot of questions recently about writer's block, so rather than continue to repeat myself hundreds of times, I've made a handy-dandy flow chart.
I love things that come in threes. Three is a good number. It's easy for remembering stuff. And so I've broken this process down into (essentially) three steps:
If you do these things, you can get back to work.
This chart shows you how to break down your creative block, analyze what's going on, and determine your next steps.
If you'd like more help with this, reach out to me and I'll personally help you with any creative block you're dealing with right now.
Until next time, go ART BADLY!
